Kasumi Karen

Karen is a deeply Christian woman who, appropriately enough, works
at a soapland. She does stuff with fire every once in a while too.
Now, the people at CLAMP have apparently invested in a thesaurus
of some kind in order to talk about Karen as much as possible
without coming out and saying that she's a whore. They avoid that
word altogether. Now, I'm as big a fan of hidden pasts as the next
guy, but come on...she's walking around in lingerie, for Pete's
sake. Now, as any females out there know, lingerie is not for
normal use. It's for inducing a slack-jawed stupor into your
significant others when they get confused and think they have a
spine. Nevertheless, Karen walks around in a little teddy and
garters giggling a lot, and somehow I know that were this
animated, she would be bouncing.
The bounce is to distract the enemy guys why she turns them
into charcoal. She had a suitable tragic past and her only
childhood friend was a teddy bear her crazy mother gave her. Now
she seems to be in love with a perfectly well adjusted guy with a
steady income. The only problem is that he’s married and has a
kid.
