Kakyou/Hokuto is an interesting pairing to try to wrap the mind around. Even though we see the relationship in X, it’s all in flashbacks to what happened between the two of them in Tokyo Babylon. Well, it happened in that time period. We wouldn’t have seen any of it in the TB manga because we’re watching Subaru and not Hokuto.

Hokuto, in case any of you were wondering, was Subaru’s twin sister, but she met with an untimely death at the end of TB. She and Kakyou were doing this adorable pseudo-dating thing, where she would come and visit him in his Dreamscapes and they would be very cute together. Alas, it was not to be. What were you expecting? This is CLAMP we’re talking about.
