Arisugawa Sorata

Sorata Arisugawa is the apprentice of the Stargazer, a big-time prognosticator from Mt.
Koya. He has the amazing power to make wisecracks at inappropriate times. He also does
some cool stuff with electricity or something, but that's only secondary. Mostly he walks
around, says funny stuff and looks cool. The Stargazer, who has apparently never been
wrong (he's like the Pope that way) made a prophesy that Sorata would die for the
woman he loved. Apparently, the big SG likes handing out prophesies of the deaths of his
close friends. He must be a popular guy. Anyway, Sora knows he's going to die for a
woman, and decides that it will be Arashi. Why? She's hot. That seems to be all he needs.
Typical, huh?
The point is that, despite earlier reluctance, Arashi has begun to return those feelings.
(Evidenced by their apparently passionate sex in a hospital bed. Ouch.) He nearly got
himself killed for her (ever heard the phrase self-fulfilling prophecy, Sora?) and this
caused the ice around her heart to crack, or some metaphysical crap like that. Anyway,
they seem to be madly in love, which means that, since it’s CLAMP, one or both of them
is bound to die pretty soon. Which will suck, because Sorata is pretty much the only
comic relief except Keichii.
