Sumeragi Subaru

Subaru Sumeragi is the thirteenth head of the Sumeragi clan, a
clan of exorcists and such. He's really important in magical
Japanese stuff, and is also a flaming homosexual. That's right, he
and Seishirou were a lot closer than most. However, he could kick
*your* ass, so let's not hear any stupid comments. Anyway, Subaru
has all sorts of cool powers but what he mainly does is pray a lot
and attempt to kill Seishirou. More the latter than the former.
Attempting to kill Seishirou is like a full-time job for him. When
they first encounter one another (in X anyway, they were the main
characters in another CLAMP story called Tokyo Babylon), they
light each other's cigarettes, laugh about old times, and level a
city block trying to annihilate each other. Subaru's tactic
consisted of throwing little pieces of paper at Seishirou, which
he blocked with his (much more effective) pieces of paper, and
then getting the crap kicked out of him for three pages or so.
Oops.
Subaru is also the man of alternate eyeballs. First he loses
one of his own, courtesy of Fuuma, then he gets one of
Seishirou’s, also courtesy of Fuuma. He finally succeeded in
killing Seishirou, but in reality Seishirou sort of killed himself
using Subaru as his method of suicide. Twisted, isn’t it?
So now Subaru has one of Seishirou’s eyes and is the
Sakurazukamori, and maybe on Fuuma’s side now, which really blows
for Kamui. Though what Subaru is or isn’t doesn’t really matter
because he is off hiding from everyone right now.
